Dr David King, Engineering Capability Lead for Advanced Materials will be participating at a panel exploring the evolution of ceramic matrix composites. The event takes place on Wednesday, 15 May 2024 at 14:10 - 15:15, at Theatre D, NEC, Birmingham.

Dr. Jo Dally, Strategic Partnerships Director at NCC will be participating in the 3.15pm panel session at 'The Decarbonisation Effect: Powering the future growth of the South West of England Economy', 24th May, Bristol, which will explore the opportunity to power the South-West economy on the back of decarbonisation of the region.

Ole Thybo Thomsen, National Composites Centre Chair in Composites Manufacturing & Design, will be delivering a keynote presentation, "Academia/RTO/industry partnership in composites research and innovation to deliver prosperity and NetZero," on Wednesday, 19 June 2024 at 10:10. 

Dr. Peter Giddings, Chief Engineer for Energy at the National Composites Centre, will be presenting at Frontiers of solid mechanics for the energy transition, held by the International Union for Theoretical and Applied Mechanics (IUTAM).

Experts from the National Composites Centre will be attending the 21st European Conference on Composite Materials (ECCM21) held from 2nd – 5th July 2024, in Nantes, France.

ICEC29/ICMC 2024 presents the latest research and state-of-the-art developments in all cryogenics areas, including superconductivity, cryocoolers, cryogenic materials, and applications. Rebecca Clark, NCC's Research Engineer will be available throughout the conference to discuss our cryogenic capabilities and services.
